Ajit Pawar's wife, Sunetra Pawar, is set to run in Baramati, while another relative will represent the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Dharashiv, Marathwada. Archana Patil, wife of BJP MLA Rana Jagjitsinh Patil and a niece of Sunetra Pawar, recently joined the NCP and will contest against Shiv Sena's Omraje Nimbalkar, her brother-in-law. This underscores how familial ties often transcend political divides.

In another instance, MP Bhavana Gavali, denied a ticket in Yavatmal-Washim, abstained from the nomination event of the Sena's official candidate, Rajashri Patil. Gavali had sought a Lok Sabha ticket until the end but withdrew after the party opted for Hingoli MP Hemant Patil's wife. Her absence signals potential discord within the party, which Chief Minister Eknath Shinde must address.

Additionally, Congress' Chandrapur Lok Sabha candidate, Pratibha Dhanorkar, and senior leader Vijay Wadettiwar appear to have reconciled, aiming to secure victories in both Chandrapur and Gadchiroli-Chimur. Despite previous friction, they met and resolved their differences, emphasizing the collective goal of electoral success.
