Danesh Kumar Palyani, a Hindu Senator in Pakistan's Parliament, has spoken out against the forced conversion of Hindu girls to Islam, particularly in the Sindh province. In his address to Parliament, he cited verses from the Quran that advocate for religious freedom, criticizing those who engage in these forced conversions and the lack of action against them.

Senator Palyani emphasized that these actions are damaging Pakistan's reputation and called on both the government and citizens to put an end to the practice. He highlighted that Hindu girls are being coerced into accepting Islam, which he condemned as against Islamic teachings. To support his argument, Palyani recited Surah Al-Kafirun from the Quran, which promotes the idea that everyone should be free to follow their own religion.

In essence, he quoted the verse: "I don't worship what you worship, and you don't worship what I worship. We will not change whom we worship. You have your religion, and I have mine." Through this, he stressed that Islam itself prohibits forced conversions, urging a halt to such practices to uphold the true spirit of religious freedom.
