AAP and Congress have settled on a 4:3 seat-sharing arrangement for Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. This means that AAP will contest four seats while Congress will vie for three.

AAP minister Atishi mentioned that discussions are ongoing between the two parties, expressing optimism about reaching a decision soon. Reports suggest that a seat-sharing arrangement between AAP and Congress in Delhi might allocate four Lok Sabha seats to AAP and three to Congress. While specific details remain undisclosed, talks seem to be in the final stages. The potential agreement could see Congress contesting East, Chandani Chowk, and North East seats, while AAP may vie for New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and North West seats. Although Atishi declined to delve into specifics, she affirmed the ongoing negotiations. A senior Delhi Congress leader confirmed the 4-3 formula, although adjustments to seat allocations could still occur. Currently, all seven Delhi Lok Sabha seats are held by BJP. In the 2019 elections, AAP and Congress contested separately, with Congress securing the second position in five seats and AAP in two. AAP initially proposed only one seat for Congress, citing its electoral performance. Despite data indicating minimal Congress presence, AAP extended an offer out of alliance principles. Discussions for seat-sharing have been ongoing for weeks across various states, including Delhi, without significant progress. A Delhi BJP leader criticized the potential AAP-Congress alliance, attributing it to mutual distrust and electoral apprehension. However, he expressed confidence in BJP's performance in Delhi owing to perceived commitment to development under PM Modi's leadership.
