As the opposition in Maharashtra grapples with its ally's unwavering demands, the BJP is strategizing to enlist the support of notable Bollywood actors.

As Maharashtra's political landscape heats up ahead of the impending Lok Sabha polls announcement, parties are deep in discussions over seat-sharing arrangements. News18 reports that Prakash Ambedkar of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi has submitted a list of 27 preferred seats to the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), emphasizing those where MVA candidates performed well in previous elections. However, Ambedkar remains tight-lipped about potential compromises, leaving the MVA uncertain. Ambedkar asserts readiness on all 27 seats claimed by his party, according to sources.

India Today reveals Ambedkar's insistence on key constituencies like Akola, Dindori, Ramtek, Amravati, and a Mumbai seat. Saturday marks another crucial round of discussions between Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Congress state leadership, and Ambedkar to negotiate seat reductions. The MVA is yet to counter Ambedkar's demands but may present an offer during Saturday's meeting. Additionally, Ambedkar seeks written assurances ruling out any affiliations with BJP pre or post-elections.

Meanwhile, PTI sources hint at an imminent decision on Maharashtra's NDA seat-sharing arrangement, likely to be unveiled by March 10 or 11.
