Breaking: Ex-Telangana CM KCR Hospitalized with Hip Fracture at Yashoda Hospital

Hyderabad Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the Secretary (Health Medical & Family Welfare) to oversee the treatment and recovery progress of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who was admitted to Yashoda Hospital following a fall. The Secretary (HM&FW) engaged with the hospital's doctors and management, revealing that Rao suffered a hip fracture due to the incident. Reddy emphasized the importance of providing the best care to Rao and instructed officials to closely monitor and update him on the former Chief Minister's treatment.

The police facilitated a green channel for shifting Chandrashekhar Rao from his farmhouse to the hospital. Concerns about Rao's condition prompted BRS working president KT Rama Rao to share an update on social media, mentioning that the former Chief Minister would undergo hip replacement surgery. BRS MLC Kavitha also assured the public that Rao had sustained a minor injury and was receiving expert care in the hospital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others extended wishes for a speedy recovery to the BRS chief. "Distressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health," expressed the Prime Minister.
