Digvijaya Singh reminds Kamal Nath of Nehru-Gandhi family's loyalty favor.

AICC in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Jitendra Singh also said that he did not think that Nath would leave the Congress party

In response to rumors suggesting that former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath and his son Nakul Nath are considering switching to the BJP, their Congress colleague Divijaya Singh dismissed such speculations on Saturday. Singh affirmed that the duo remains committed to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, stating that Kamal Nath was in Chhindwara and not visiting Delhi as rumored. He emphasized Kamal Nath's longstanding association with the Nehru-Gandhi family since the inception of his political career, highlighting their support during challenging times. AICC Madhya Pradesh in-charge Jitendra Singh echoed similar sentiments, expressing confidence in Kamal Nath's loyalty to the Congress party. Kamal Nath's close ties with the Nehru-Gandhi family have been a defining aspect of his political journey. Speculation arose after Nakul Nath announced his candidacy for the Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat without official party backing. Kamal Nath recently reaffirmed his commitment to the Congress ideology. The Congress has witnessed significant exits in recent years, including Jyotiraditya Scindia's defection to the BJP, adding to the challenges faced by the party.
