Elvish Yadav has been apprehended in connection with the Noida snake venom case and has been remanded to 14-day judicial custody.

Elvish Yadav, a prominent YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT2, was arrested by Noida Police on Sunday in connection with the snake venom case. He was taken into custody after being called in for questioning regarding his alleged involvement in providing snake venom for a party in Noida's Sector 51. This party, which was actually a sting operation conducted by People for Animals led by Maneka Gandhi, aimed to expose the misuse of rare animals. Alongside Elvish Yadav, six individuals were booked under various sections of the law, including the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code for criminal conspiracy.

The investigation revealed that the venom of cobra and krait species was used in the samples seized from the party. People for Animals suspected Elvish's involvement due to his network of contacts in this regard. Despite his denial of the allegations during questioning, evidence suggested his role in facilitating contacts for procuring snake venom. Notably, Elvish's videos often featured him posing with snakes.

Regarding another controversy involving Elvish, he faced backlash after a video of him assaulting YouTuber Maxtern, also known as Sagar Thakur, went viral. An FIR was filed against Elvish in Gurugram in connection with this incident. In response, Elvish issued a statement explaining the circumstances that led to the altercation with Maxtern.

Furthermore, it's important to note that Elvish was not present at the party where the snake venom was allegedly used, which took place at a banquet hall in Noida Sector 51 on November 3 of the previous year.
