Newly elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has alleged that she was slapped by a CISF woman guard, Kulwinder Kaur, at Chandigarh Airport. The incident reportedly occurred during a security check as Ranaut was traveling to Delhi. According to sources, the confrontation started when Ranaut refused to place her phone in the security tray, leading to an escalation that resulted in the alleged slap. Ranaut has filed a complaint, and the CISF is investigating the matter.

Addressing the incident on her Twitter handle, Ranaut posted a video assuring her followers that she is safe. She explained, "The incident happened during the security check at the airport. Once the check was done, a woman..." She expressed concern over the rising terror in Punjab and questioned the measures in place to handle such threats.
