Mumbai traffic police have issued advisories for the central and southern areas ahead of the Maharashtra budget session.

The Mumbai traffic police have issued a February 26 advisory in light of the state budget session and ongoing repair works, impacting areas such as Mulund, Byculla, and Nariman Point.

Ahead of the February 26 budget session commencement, restrictions will be enforced on pay-and-park facilities near Vidhan Bhavan. Various routes will be designated as "no-parking zones," with specific road closures and diversions outlined in the advisory issued on February 23.

Parking will be prohibited between the Vinay K Shah Marg and Jammalal Bajaj Marg junctions up to Usha Mehta Chowk. Similar restrictions will apply to several other areas, including Murali Deora Chowk, Dorabaji Tata Road junction, Ramnath Goenka Marg junction, Sakhar Bhavan to Union Bank at Vidhan Bhavan Marg, and Barrister Rajni Patel Marg and Free Press Journal Marg in both directions.

Additionally, Vidhan Bhavan Marg and Ramnath Goenka Marg will be exclusively open to emergency service vehicles, while Byculla-Sant Sawanta Road, Rambhau Bhogle Marg, and Dr. Mascarance Road will remain closed until February 26 night due to Shab-e-Barat festivities. Traffic diversions will be implemented via Barrister Nath Pai Road and Mazgaon Circle.
