PM Modi inaugurates Maharashtra projects worth ₹4,900 crore, subtly contrasting with the previous administration: 'Under different leadership...'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple infrastructure projects worth over ₹4900 crore in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, along with disbursing benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) and other schemes. The 16th instalment of PM-KISAN, totaling over ₹21,000 crore, was directly transferred to beneficiaries, benefiting more than 11 crore farmer families. Additionally, the Prime Minister distributed the second and third instalments of the 'Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi' scheme, amounting to about ₹3,800 crore, providing extra support to farmers in Maharashtra. Moreover, an amount of ₹825 crore from the Revolving Fund was allocated to 5.5 lakh women Self Help Groups (SHGs) across the state. This fund, supplementary to the support provided by the Government of India under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), aims to empower women entrepreneurs. Among other initiatives, one crore Ayushman cards were distributed, and the Modi Awaas Gharkul Yojana for OBC category beneficiaries was launched during the event.

In terms of rail projects, the Wardha-Kalamb broad gauge line and the New Ashti - Amalner broad gauge line were inaugurated, which are part of broader rail connectivity projects in Maharashtra. Two train services connecting Kalamb-Wardha and Amalner-New Ashti were virtually flagged off, promising enhanced connectivity for students, traders, and daily commuters in the region.

During his address, PM Modi expressed gratitude to the people of Yavatmal and highlighted the achievements of the NDA government. He criticized the opposition's INDIA bloc, suggesting that under Congress rule, a significant portion of the allocated funds would have been misappropriated. He emphasized his administration's commitment to transparent and efficient governance, contrasting it with the alleged corruption and inefficiency of previous governments. PM Modi reiterated his dedication to serving the nation and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the intended beneficiaries without any middlemen.
