Prime Minister Modi Accuses Telangana Chief Minister KCR of Seeking BJP Alliance, Highlights Rejection and Promises Backward Class Chief Minister in Upcoming Elections

In a recent speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) of attempting to form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and highlighted that the BJP declined this proposal. Modi asserted that KCR recognized the growing influence of the BJP and had previously sought a partnership with the party. The prime minister claimed that during a meeting in Delhi, KCR expressed his desire to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), a request that was rejected by the BJP. Modi emphasized that the BJP cannot go against the will of the people of Telangana.

Modi reiterated his previous statement from a month ago, where he disclosed KCR's purported visit to Delhi after the BJP's success in the Hyderabad municipal polls. According to Modi, KCR sought NDA membership and asked for support, but Modi declined, citing KCR's actions.

During the rally, PM Modi criticized both the Congress and KCR, labeling them as equal contributors to Telangana's decline. He urged the people not to bring in another negative force after removing one, asserting that the trust of Telangana lies in the BJP. Modi promised that the next Chief Minister of Telangana from the BJP would come from the Backward Class (BC) community. The upcoming Telangana elections are scheduled for November 30, with vote counting set for December 3.
