Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to inaugurate development projects and participate in a public event in Yavatmal on February 28th.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in a public event in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district on Wednesday, where he will inaugurate and dedicate numerous development projects. Among these initiatives, he will release benefits under various schemes including the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and 'Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi', amounting to over Rs 21,000 crore and Rs 3,800 crore respectively, benefiting millions of farmers in Maharashtra.

Additionally, PM Modi will disburse Rs 825 crore of Revolving Fund to 5.5 lakh women Self Help Groups (SHGs) across the state, promoting lending within SHGs and enhancing the income of poor households. Moreover, he will distribute one crore Ayushman cards and launch the Modi Awaas Gharkul Yojana for OBC category beneficiaries, aiming to construct 10 lakh houses from FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will dedicate irrigation projects worth over Rs 2,750 crore, rail projects exceeding Rs 1,300 crore, and various road sector projects in Maharashtra. These initiatives aim to enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and foster socio-economic development in the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions, ultimately advancing the welfare of the people of Maharashtra.
