Rahul Gandhi Takes Center Stage at INDI Alliance Mega Rally in Shivaji Park, Unleashes Critique on Government and PM

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a rally at Mumbai's Shivaji Park, alleging that Modi relies on EVMs to win elections and uses central agencies like ED and CBI against political opponents.

Gandhi claimed that without EVMs, Modi couldn't secure victories and accused the Election Commission of not showing the machines to experts upon request. He also mentioned the power imbalance and alleged threats faced by leaders leaving the Congress party.

Describing Modi as a "mask" for a larger power, Gandhi accused him of monopolizing corruption and questioned the ease with which leaders from other parties joined the ruling alliance.

The rally, attended by prominent leaders like Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, aimed to unite the opposition under the INDIA alliance against the BJP. Stalin emphasized the importance of defeating the BJP, echoing Gandhi's message of unity and justice.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav praised Gandhi's efforts to unite India and emphasized the rally's goal of safeguarding the Constitution and defeating hatred.

Notably absent from the event was Akhilesh Yadav, who cited upcoming election commitments in Uttar Pradesh for his absence.

The rally coincided with the Election Commission's announcement of the Lok Sabha election schedule, marking the end of Gandhi's 6,700-kilometer Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. The yatra, starting in January from Manipur and ending in Mumbai, aimed to connect with voters across India.
