Raj Thackeray describes Maharashtra's political landscape as chaotic, with blurred party lines indicating a messy situation.

Raj Thackeray, the leader of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), expressed deep concern about the chaotic state of politics in Maharashtra. He likened the current political scenario to 'chikkal,' describing it as slippery mud where party affiliations have become unclear. Thackeray emphasized the need for accountability among politicians and urged the public to hold them responsible for their actions.

During his visit to Kalyan as part of his statewide tour ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Thackeray clarified that his meetings with leaders from other parties didn't imply forming alliances. Despite recent speculation, he maintained that alliances were not on the table.

Thackeray also raised doubts about the reliability of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and advocated for a return to paper ballots for elections. He criticized the shift towards caste-based politics, highlighting the neglect of pressing issues such as drought, unemployment, and agricultural distress.

Additionally, Thackeray voiced concerns about the Election Commission of India's decision to involve teachers in poll duties, citing its adverse impact on students. He urged for a reevaluation of such practices to ensure minimal disruption to the education system.
