The Congress Central Election Committee has approved 10 candidates for Maharashtra and 7 candidates each for Rajasthan and Gujarat.

The Congress's Central Election Committee (CEC) has recently finalized the names of 10 Lok Sabha candidates for Maharashtra, 7 each for Gujarat and Rajasthan, and a total of 82 candidates across various states and Union territories. Notably, former Union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's daughter, Praniti Shinde, is among the approved candidates for Maharashtra. Additionally, the CEC has cleared the candidature of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj from Kolhapur and Daryapur MLA Balwant Wankhede from Amaravati in Maharashtra. In Rajasthan, Sunil Sharma from Jaipur city and Anupgarh MLA Kuldeep Indora have been approved as candidates for their respective constituencies. The CEC meetings have been relatively efficient, with decisions made quickly due to usually having only one candidate per seat for consideration. The party's CEC will convene again to finalize candidates from Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. Overall, the Congress has been steadily announcing its candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with notable names like Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, Bhupesh Baghel, and others featuring in its lists.
