Thirty people were injured when a bus plunged off a bridge in Parbhani, Maharashtra.

The bus driver apparently lost control over the wheels following which the vehicle fell from a bridge at Akoli in Parbhani's Jintur taluka, leading to the tragic incident.

A bus accident in Parbhani, Maharashtra, resulted in 30 passengers sustaining injuries as the vehicle fell off a bridge in Akoli, Jintur taluka. The incident, attributed to the driver losing control, happened while the bus was en route from Jintur to Solapur on Wednesday morning.

According to Superintendent of Police Ravindrasing Pardeshi, the injured passengers were promptly taken to a medical facility in Jintur and later transferred to a government hospital in Parbhani for further treatment. Thankfully, despite the severity of the accident, no fatalities were reported.

This unfortunate event mirrors a previous incident on March 3, where a BEST bus collided with a car and hit a divider in Navi Mumbai's Palm Beach area. Fortunately, in that case, although the bus was carrying passengers, no injuries were sustained. CCTV footage captured the bus's speeding attempt to climb the divider, prompting passengers to quickly exit the bus after the collision.
