Verify the cash prize received by RCB and DC as Smriti Mandhana clinched Bangalore's inaugural T20 trophy.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured their maiden T20 championship by triumphing over Delhi Capitals (DC) in a closely contested match. The "Superwomen" of RCB, led by Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry, played pivotal roles in chasing down the target of 114 runs.

In a nail-biting encounter, RCB emerged victorious with Skipper Mandhana contributing 31 runs off 39 balls and Perry remaining unbeaten with 35 runs off 37 balls.

DC started strongly, reaching 64/0, but soon faced a setback as Sophie Molineux's left-arm orthodox bowling scalped three wickets in a single over. Molineux's breakthrough performance earned her the Player of the Match award. Shreyanka Patil further added to DC's woes by claiming four wickets for just 12 runs, ultimately dismissing them for 113 runs.

RCB's batting innings commenced with New Zealand's Sophie Devine providing a quick start with her 32 runs off 27 balls. Mandhana maintained composure on the other end, guiding RCB towards victory. Despite a tense final over, Richa Ghosh's rapid 17 runs off 14 balls, along with Perry's contribution, sealed the win for Bangalore.

Perry's exceptional performance throughout the tournament, accumulating 347 runs in nine matches with two half-centuries and an impressive average of 69.40, earned her the Orange Cap and a cash prize of ₹5 lakh. Patil, the leading wicket-taker with 13 dismissals, was awarded the Purple Cap, also receiving ₹5 lakh as a reward.

RCB claimed the championship title along with a substantial prize of ₹6 crore for their first-ever T20 triumph. Despite falling short in the final, Delhi Capitals received a consolation prize of ₹3 crore.
